WEDDINGS
All fees for packages exclude the marriage licence fee that is payable directly to the Department of Internal Affairs (currently $150).
The fees quoted are approximate for weddings in the Auckland region and may vary depending on your individual requirements. For weddings outside Auckland there are additional costs for travel. Please contact me to discuss your needs and confirm costs.
BESPOKE CEREMONIES $520
Every ceremony I create is completely bespoke, written specifically for you. Whatever type of ceremony you have in mind, I work with you in the months and weeks leading up to your wedding to ensure that everything you want is captured in your ceremony.
To make sure your day goes smoothly your fee includes our initial meeting, crafting your unique ceremony, unlimited revisions to get it perfect, a rehearsal before the big day, as many telephone, Skype or emails as is necessary in between and a written copy of the ceremony I create for you. Once your ceremony is complete I submit your signed marriage licence to Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM) for registration by them.
JUST GET HITCHED $250
This option is what I like to think of as ‘ just the legals’ and it’s ideal for couples who are considering a registry-style wedding or just want to get hitched without too much fuss. Simply choose your venue and bring your witnesses and I will do the rest!
These ceremonies are only available on weekdays (no public holidays) and with a maximum number of eight guests attending. The ceremony is approximately ten minutes long, uses standard vows and there are no revisions or rehearsal. On the day I arrive at least fifteen minutes early, get you hitched and provide you with your copy of the signed marriage licence before leaving you to celebrate. Of course, I will also ensure that your signed marriage licence is submitted to BDM for registration by them.
