Just Get Hitched

Service Description

This option is what I like to think of as ‘ just the legals’ and it’s ideal for couples who are considering a registry-style wedding or just want to get hitched without too much fuss. Simply choose your venue and bring your witnesses and I will do the rest! These ceremonies are only available on weekdays (no public holidays) with a maximum number of eight (8) guests attending. The ceremony is approximately ten minutes long, uses standard vows and there are no revisions or rehearsal. On the day I arrive at least fifteen(15) minutes early, get you hitched and provide you with your copy of the signed marriage licence before leaving you to celebrate. Of course, I will also ensure that your signed marriage licence is submitted to BDM for registration. All fees for the above packages exclude the marriage licence fee that is payable directly to the Department of Internal Affairs (currently $150). The fees quoted are approximate and may vary depending on your individual requirements. For weddings outside Auckland there are additional costs for travel.
